St Joseph’s stay in touch of teams at the top

St Joseph’s stayed in touch with the top teams in Section B of the Roy Kennedy Fuels Indoor Bowling League after an 11 shots away win and five points against St Colman’s Lambeg.

A four at the third gave Hugh Lundy a 7-0 led and though Lawrence Long pulled back to 3-9 at the sixth St Joseph’s finished with one, three, one to win by 11 shots.

At the fourth James Burns was 6-0 ahead and with an end left led 8-3. Stevie Mulholland finished with a four but was still a shot down.

No score at the first but a three for Damien Magennis levelled the score at 4-4 after four ends. Gary McWilliams, who had lifted a four added three doubles and went on to win by four shots.

Three at the sixth for Frank Agnew levelled the score at 5-5, but Con Mulholland lifted a four and went on to win by five shots.
