Dad Steven a member of the Dervock and District Residents Association said: “This is a fantastic achievement as we head towards next year with the 2012 Olympics very much in the minds of the people of Dervock with all the celebrations centred around Dervock’s very own Kennedy Kane McArthur.”

The event was an national event organised by the Sea Cadets all over Great Britain and collectively Northern Ireland Cadets brought back 40 medals consisting of 22 golds, 9 silvers, and 9 bronze and to top it all off they lifted 4 of the 5 possible national cups.
