Peter Taylor played a big part in Loughaghery’s Lisburn Zone Charity Rosebowl final win over St Colman’s Lambeg when he won by 11 shots and his team got home by seven shots.

His highest lift was a three, but Lawrence Long only managed a last end single in a first half game which set Loughaghery well on the way.

At seven ends Frank Agnew had lifted five singles to lead 5-3 and after Jonathan Leathem lifted one, two St Colman’s finished with a double to win by a shot, leaving Loughaghery ten shots up at the break.

Noel Graham started with three singles but Gary McWilliams cancelled them out with a three at the fourth, but Lougaghery went on to win six of the ends, though their winning margin was only a shot.

Philip Dennison started with a double and added a three at the third, but James Burns won all but one of the remaining ends and won the game by four shots.
