Parkview play relegation waiting game
The Doagh girls are third from bottom in the Junior League Section 4, ahead of Ballymena III and Coleraine II, both of whom still have games in hand, and with two of these three destined for Section 5 next season there are anxious days ahead.
Penny Purdy's girls completed their programme on the gravel surface at the club's headquarters in Doagh, where Grosvenor II clinched the points with the only goal of the game.

Hide AdIt was scored in the first half from open play with a firm shot that gave goalkeeper Lynn Newburn no chance, but Tracy Hagan was desperately unfortunate not to secure a division of the spoils when her drive beat the keeper, but crashed against the post in the second half.
Victoria Donaldson also starred up front, where she and Tracy stretched the city defence on several occasions following creativeplay by Ruth Hughes and Fiona Cleland in midfield.
Wilma McCullough, Maureen Galbraith and team captain Penny Purdy were in top form at the back where they gave Lynn Newburn good protection.

Hide AdThe seniors complete their programme this week when they travel to champions Portadown, needing at least a point to avoid relegation. With Banbridge already doomed, either Parkview or Coleraine will be involved in a play-off with the team finishing second in the Senior League Section 3.
