Northern Ireland Gloster Club’s Cage Bird sale

The venue is the British Legion Clubrooms, Townhead Street, Ballymoney. The hall is next door to Ballymoney Town Hall, venue for the town’s annual CBS show for many years, and directly opposute a large free public car park.

Tables can be booked by contacting club secretary John Hartin on 028 2766 6603. All types of cage birds will be accepted. Sellers must possess a DARD licence, cages must not be overcrowded with no seed or sawdust on cage floors. Paper only on cage floors.

As well as cage birds fanciers are welcome to sell cages, cases and other accessories, as well as associated goods.

Traders will be admitted from 8:30am with the doors open at 9am. The event runs to 12 midday. Admission will be £1 for everyone with stallholders paying £5 per table, ( the £1 admission will be refunded to stallholders).

Already numerous fanciers have voiced their intention to attend, selling Glosters, Borders, Fifes, etc. Budgerigars, Foreign Birds and Zebra Finches will, as usual, be out in force.

So come along and support this pre show season event organised by a local club. So make a note of the date 24th September.
