Motorcycling nostalgia event in city
Lisburn City Council, in conjunction with the Metzeler 2013 Ulster Grand Prix Bike Week, will bring a touch of nostalgia to the City Centre next Monday evening (12th August) when a number of events involving vintage and classic road racing motorcycles will take place at Lagan Valley LeisurePlex.
The legendary road racing stars, the Dromara Destroyers, will be in attendance, with the event taking place from 7.15pm. The main outdoor event will see members of the 30 Motorcycle Club of Ulster leaving Lagan Valley LeisurePlex at 7.30pm for a parade lap of the Dundrod Circuit on their motorcycles. Following their return at approximately 8.30pm visitors can see their vintage and classic motorcycles as they remain on display.
