Moneydig through to last eight

MONEYDIG secured a quarter final berth in the E&B Taylor Charity Cup following their 28-shot win over Killowen.

The visitors won all four rinks with Brian McFetridge and Trevor Workman giving them a 17-shot lead at the break with wins over Sadie Davis and Billy Boyce respectively.

David Wright added another seven to their total after the break as he beat Sammy Connor jnr before Torrence McFetridge sealed the win with a four shot victory over Joe Davis.

Quarter final draw: Dunloy/Drumreagh v Carncullagh/Boveedy; Second Kilrea/St Olcan's v Moneydig; Ballinrees/Benvarden v St Colman's; Loughanreagh/Dunluce Pres v Macosquin.

Ties to be played before January 30.
