On a delightful autumn morning the two clubs teams played several matches against each other with evenly fought matches throughout.

This was the first competitive match for the Lisburn P2 section which is made up of a mixture of players from last year’s “Cygnets” along with a number of new members.

The P2 boys and girls took to competitive games with tremendous enthusiasm and are looking forward to many more games to come through the season.

Throughout the rest of the age groups, all the games were played in a competitive and fair manner with everyone enjoying the fine playing conditions.

Banbridge brought enough players in each age section for 2 teams which allowed all the players to enjoy a prolonged period of game time.

In the P7 section, the Lisburn numbers have been swelled by 6 new members and these new players took part in a competitive game for the first time. They can be very proud of their efforts.

The season continues on Saturday 3rd October with the first away fixture at Armagh. Kick off is at 9:30am at the Palace Grounds, Armagh. All support is welcome.
