Hopefully they will be able to hold onto this third spot after a fairly steady performance at Killymoon.

Dr. William McCandless and Tom Fee were the two top scorers with 36 points each. The course was playing long and the heat was almost unbearable so 36 points was very respectable.

John Poots had 34 points and Sam Wilkinson was the fourth man to count with 28 points.

That gave Banbridge a team score of 134 points, not as good as expected but nevertheless not bad.

The other members of the team were Brian Mulholland, Dougie Stevenson, John Redpath and Sydney Pepper.

Round Seven will be played at Omagh on Monday 11 August.
