Hide AdDivision 1 winner of the Sunday Stableford competition was 12 handicapper Allan Mc Cook with a score of 38 points. In the conditions Allan produced a very steady round and whilst he had a “no score” at the Par 3 13th, birdies at the testing 4th & 8th holes more than made up for his slip up and enabled him to beat Owen Kennedy on countback.
Owen completed the course in 3 over par with an eagle 2 at the 5th being the highlight of his round. Damian Mc Sorley playing off 8 claimed 3rd spot with 37 points on countback from Colin Millar and Richard Blaney.
In Division 2 local fisherman Kevin Morton netted the premier spot with a total of 40 points.
This was two points ahead of Victor Young who despite having a “no score” at the 7th managed to secure 2nd spot from John Morgan who finished on 36 points.
Whilst John had a few ups and downs in his round his birdie at the 18th meant he had just done enough to claim 3rd position on countback from Liam Laverty ; John Mc Sparran and Kevin Traynor.
