GOLF: Three-in-a-row success for St Killian’s

St Killian’s Garron Tower’s golf team completed a three-in-a-row success in the Ulster Schools’ Scratch championship in Ardglass recently.

Their winning margin over second-placed St Malachy’s Belfast was 15 shots. The team, with scores, are (l-r): Fergus McCambridge (+11), David Burns (+8), captain Marc McKinstry (+3) and Ronan McCambridge (+8).

Marc also had the lowest gross score in the Ulster Senior Schools’ Championship at Lisburn in September and the school has qualified for the Ulster semi-finals in March 2016.
