Dollingstown boss Gary Duke is delighted at signing Tomelty and also midfielder Scott Adams from PSNI.

“Jamie brings a huge amount of quality and experience to us,” said Duke.

“We’ll play him off the two front strikers. I’m also pleased to bring in Scott Adams. I tried to sign him three years ago so it is great to finally get him on board.”

Dollingstown are determined to retain their position in senior football, with five clubs to be relegated this season from Championship 2 as part of the re-organisation of senior football.

Dollingstown are confident the paperwork will be sorted in time for Jamie to be included in the squad for Saturday’s game.
