Nicky told Times Sport: “This will be the inaugural ‘Jimmy McGonigle Memorial Tournament’ which we are hoping to play on the Heights pitch on an annual basis.
“Jimmy was a big football fan, so there is no better way to pay tribute to him.
“He rarely missed a game and was always around the changing rooms shouting and joking with players.”

The two semi finals will be played on July 26 and 28 with the final on Saturday, August 2.
Plans are afoot for a presentation in the Montra Club followed by a disco - with all money being raised going to Chest, Heart and Stroke.
Nicky added: “We’ve already had donations from David McClarty, Maurice Bradley, Greenhall Insurance, Peking Garden, Chequers Pizza, Karen’s Cupcakes, Cathy McColgan and local referees Tony Young and Geoffrey Edgar have offered their services for the game.

“ My dad was always doing things for charity. And it’s nice to think that he’s still raising money even when he’s not here.
