Point knocked out of Bob Radcliffe Cup after extra time

It was a long, long Friday night in Milltown but it wasn't worth the effort for hosts Warrenpoint who were knocked out of the Bob Radcliffe Cup by Rathfriland Rangers, who booked their place in the semi-final after extra-time.

The swirling wind whipped up a storm and if the intermittent gusts favoured anyone in the first half, it was the home side, but it was the visitors who created most of the chances.

On the scoreboard however, it was the Point who drew first blood with the opening goal on 15 minutes, but it was a level playing field again when Rathfriland equalised on the cusp of half-time.
