Pherson: Barn deserved more than a point against Dromara
Earlier in the week, Jim Pherson’s side were given the three points from the 1-0 defeat at Crumlin United as Aaron McKinney, scorer of the only goal, should have been suspended.
As for the Dromara draw, Pherson told the Times: “Both managers could say it was two points dropped, although I think we had more claim to it simply because we had more of the ball and had one goal disallowed for a debatable offside decision.

Dromara snatched the lead on 25 minutes, when they were first to react after an initial effort had been pawed out by United ‘keeper Stephen Brennan.
Right on half-time, United should have been back on par but Keith Anderson’s looping header smacked off the crossbar.
Barn found their answer 12 minutes into the second half when Matt McDonald followed up after Tweedie’s initial shot was parried.

Tweedie also went close shaving the outside of the upright and the villagers could have pinched it right at the death when a combination of defender Graham Alexander and keeper Stephen Brennan keept the ball out.
Barn have just two games left – away to Abbey Villa on April 11 and home to Larne Tech a week later.
