On Saturday there is one City Cup game where Greysteel host Draperstown Reserves, there are also four important games in the Premier Division.

League Cup Final

Ardmore v Claudy Rovers

This is a game not to be missed, two attack minded sides with match winners throughout both sides. Ardmore after a break got back on track last Saturday with four different players scoring.

Rovers had a great win over last seasons champion BBOB with their top of the hill players Darren Harkin and James Boyd outstanding, there should be goals in this one with extra time maybe required.

Prediction: Claudy Rovers

Premiership

Lincoln Courts v Drummond United

Things can’t get much worse for the Courts after last Saturday’s performance, they are playing with a lack of belief and manager Kolyn Patterson has a big job on his hands.

Drummond saw Foyle Wanderers take over at the top of the table but they do have a game in hand, Geoff Ferris has his side playing with a great team spirit, on current form they should win with goals to spare.

Prediction: Drummond United.

Caw v Tullyally

The men from Nelson Drive have lost their way recently and now find themselves fourth from bottom, their good early season form has deserted them but they have the players to put that right.

Tullyally are just two points above their opponents, they look safe and will be concentrating more on their City cup campaign, however a win here would do nicely.

Prediction: Tullyally.

Foyle Wanderers v Newbuildings United Res

Sometimes the form book can be thrown away when it comes to derby games that said Wanderers are now sitting in pole position and thoroughly deserve to be there. Robbie Godfrey continues to bang in the goals but they are solid throughout the side.

Newbuildings are still hanging in there in joint bottom spot and they did well to score three against Ardmore last week unfortunately their defence let them down, looks like another bad day at the office.

Prediction: Foyle Wanderers.

BBOB v Irish Street

The Old Boys hopes of retaining the title are looking slim especially after last Saturday’s defeat at Claudy.

Manager Don Olphert will demand a big improvement and should get it.

Mark McKittrick’s troops pulled off the shock of the day last week which shows what can be done, however have his side left it to late, the Old Boys to bounce back.

Prediction: BBOB.
