“Andy Hardy from Larne Youth made contact with Michael after reading some of his coaching books, and he agreed to come over to Larne.
“It’s a massive coup for our club, bringing over a Premiership coach and to learn how they progress kids from a young age to first-team football. Six of Michael’s players were in Klopp’s team in Sunday’s win over Bournemouth!
“It was excellent work from Andy to bring Michael over. The session was well received by 55 coaches, mostly from Larne Youth, but others from Ballymena United, Carrick Rangers, Whitehead, Hillsborough Boys and Clonduff. Everyone learning something new and were given a good idea on how things work at a professional club.”
