CRICKET: Schools' Cup draw made

Two of the three East Antrim schools in this year's Ulster Bank Schools Cricket Cup have received home draws in the first round of the competition.

Ballyclare High School and Belfast High School will host Friends Schools Lisburn and Bangor Grammar School respectively.

Carrickfergus Grammar School are on the road and they will travel to Wallace High School.

Seeding has been introduced for the first time with six schools receiving automatic entry into the second round.

Holders Belfast Royal Academy are one of the six and have been drawn away to the winners of the first-round game between Wallace High School and Carrickfergus Grammar School.

Sullivan Upper are joined by Down High School as two unseeded schools receiving byes into the second round.
