Calling all budding football managers!

Saturday afternoons spent mowing the lawn, washing the car or worse still getting dragged around the shops will soon be behind us with the new football season just days away!

We all like to think we can do things better when it comes to watching from the armchair but now’s your chance to prove yourself as a football manager.

Each year former Ballymoney United player Paul McFeeley sets up a fantasy league for footie-nuts throughout north Antrim.

And Paul - now living in England - has thrown down the gauntlet to local fans to sign up and show what they can do.

Paul told Times Sport: “I’ve set up a fantasy football league as a way to have a bit of craic with some mates back in Ballymoney.

“I want to try to get as many people from the north Antrim area to join as well.

“It’s a really good version of the game and includes a forum section where you can enjoy a bit of banter with your friends and rivals.

“But best of all - it’s free to enter!”
