The Rochester’s ABC is situated in the Ebrington Center and has been in operation for the past eight months under the auspices of club coaches Gary Martin, Nigel Hagon and Martin Mancini.

The Waterside based club have already successfully hosted the Derry & District Championships.

Both clubs are currently developing boxers at all age groups from 10-year-olds up to 30-years-old respectively. When both clubs join forces in team “Legenderry” it will mark the culmination of months of cross-community work through amateur boxing. Inter-club training and sparring sessions have taken place at both the Ring and Rochester’s boxing gyms where the aspiring boxers have participated and integrated within the neutral environments.

The show is being organised under the guidance of Ring ABC President, Charlie Nash, with the goal of fostering and developing positive cross-community relations in the sport of amateur boxing.
