Amy helps Carrick Ladies complete double over Priorians
Goals from Amy Cross (two) and Julie Oliver secured the win for Neil McConnell’s side.
For the most part of the opening half of this fixture however, Priorians looked capable of preventing Carrick from finding the net and scoring themselves.

Priorians never seemed to recover from this late first-half strike and for most of the second half it was Carrick who dominated the game.
Cross struck again 15 minutes into the second period, taking her personal goal tally to seven for the current season.
And five minutes later, Oliver repeated her penalty corner exploits of the previous weekend when she hammered home an unstoppable shot through the Priorians’ defence.

But the Carrick defence held firm and the match ended in a 3-0 win to the home side leaving them with an outside chance of yet mounting a late attempt to force themselves into a top-three finish in Senior Two.
