After a search of the area, the defendants were identified and made a full admission.

Solicitor Liam Donnelly said: “Her and her co-accused were apprehended within five minutes of this happening.”

McAlonan is now free of drugs and has re-built family relationships, while also regularly attending church, the solicitor added.

District Judge Rosalie Prytherch told McAlonan: “Turn your life around or else it will lead to one place only.”
