Warning as traffic lights fail

The fault has impacted the lights on all three approaches to the junction.

Police said: “We have been advised that it may be several days before the repair work can be completed due to difficulty with parts.

“This is obviously very dangerous and all drivers, cyclists and pedestrians need to be really careful at this junction until the lights are fixed.

“We will monitor the junction when possible. This is not a good situation to have, especially over the Easter weekend, Please be careful. Share or pass this on to friends and family please. Drive safely.”
