Tractor catches fire in Cookstown

A fire crew was called to the scene of a tractor fire in Cookstown on Saturday night.

The Montober Road incident, which was reported to Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service just before 10.30pm, is thought to have happened as the result of an accident.

A Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service received a call at 10:26pm to a report of a fire at the Muntober Road, area of Cookstown on Saturday 27th June

“One Fire Appliance from Cookstown Fire Station was deployed to the scene of a tractor on fire in the area.

“The incident finished at 11.05pm and is being treated as an accidental fire.”
