Three released unconditionally

Three men arrested in Londonderry by police investigating dissident republican activity have been released unconditionally.

Detectives from Serious Crime Branch arrested two of the men, aged 36 and 49, in the Creggan and Balbane Pass areas of the city on Tuesday evening.

Three homes in these areas were also searched as part of the operation.

A 31-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday morning as part of the same operation.

A PSNI spokesman said on Wednesday night said: “Three men, aged 31, 36 and 49, arrested in the Derry area by detectives investigating dissident republican activity have been released unconditionally this evening.”
