Storey attends All-Party Group on Postal issues
North Antrim MLA Mervyn Storey has attended a meeting of the All-Party Group on Postal Issues at Stormont.
Mervyn commented: “The work undertaken by this All-Party group is very important. Everyone within our community understands the value of our local post offices, and we are emphasizing our strong support for them.
“Recently we have seen the Balnamore Post Office re-open, which now operates new service provision. This was strongly welcomed by the local community and even merited mention in the House of Commons by the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills Jo Swinson MP.
“We are not going to take our eye of the ball when it comes to our Post Offices. They provide a vital service and communities depend on them.”
