Six months driving ban
A LURGAN man was banned from driving for six months last Thursday at Craigavon court for not having insurance.
Ryan White (28), of Pollock Mews, Lurgan, was also fined 100 for the offence on September 26, 2008.
The court heard he was stopped on a 125cc motorcycle in West Street, Portadown, and asked to produce his driving documents.
A solicitor for White said that his insurance had expired just a few weeks before this incident. He was struggling financially and took a chance.
