Rotary cash boost for northcoast groups
The Super 6 Club, Causeway Paralympic After School Club was presented with a cheque for £1,000.
The money will go towards the purchase of sport wheelchairs for the children – aged 4 years to 18 years – who live in the Ballymoney and Ballycastle areas.

Hide AdEach week the children participate in a variety of sports that include table tennis, boccia, wheelchair basketball, uni-hockey, indoor golf and even dodgeball. It has been a great opportunity for them to socialise with each other, as well as take part in sport.
The Coleraine Cougars Special Olympics Club was presented with a cheque for £500.
It offers children and adults with an intellectual disability the opportunity to train and compete in basketball.
They recently won the Special Olympics Ulster Division 2 and the Under-15 League titles.

Hide AdThey also finished runners-up in Division 3, and gained two gold, three silver, two bronzemeda;s and two placement ribbons during the Special Olympics individual skills.
Rotary Club of Coleraine provided the donation with match funding from Rotary Ireland.
