Police uncover 'the proverbial Aladdin's cave of drugs'

One person was arrested when Mid Ulster police uncovered what they described as "the proverbial Aladdin's cave of drugs, phones, cash, scales, deal bags and more" in Coalisland yesterday.

In a social media post Dungannon PSNI said the haul also included a huge amount of illegal prescription drugs.

The post continues: "All seized and one arrested for possession and intent to supply of class A, B and C drugs, as well as cultivation offences. He's in the cells counting rivets as we speak - it'll be a long night.

"We've no time for individuals plying kids around Coalisland and further afield with drugs, it's the information you give us that guarantees the doors go up the halls.

"Keep it coming in and we'll keep hitting and lifting the dealers."
