Police make drugs seizures
POLICE enquiries are continuing into two drugs seizures in the borough last week, it has been confirmed.
On Monday (March 22), officers searched a house in Ferndale Avenue, Carnmoney and an amount of cannabis resin, drugs paraphernalia and mobile phones were seized.
Two men, aged 28 and 30, were arrested and later released.
Meanwhile, in a separate search operation the following day, police officers seized more than 70 cannabis plants from a property the Ballyrobert Road area.
A PSNI spokesperson confirmed that enquiries into both finds are continuing.
