Police issue warning over bogus callers
Police have urged residents in Larne and Carrick to be vigilant following a spate of cold calling incidents recently, in which bogus callers have attempted to gain access to homes.
In a statement on social media, a PSNI spokesperson said the incidents are currently under investigation, adding: “If you have had any suspicious callers at your home (and haven’t reported this to us already) please give us a call on 101.
“We also have ‘no cold callers’ stickers available - if you would like one please call 101 and ask to speak to the Crime Prevention Officer.”
