Police investigate fatal crash
The man killed in a road crash in County Tyrone yesterday (Thursday, August 27) has been named locally.

The crash occurred in the Drum Road area of Cookstown shortly after 5pm.
While there has been no official announcement it’s understood an elderly man died in what police described as ‘a serious multi vehicle road traffic collision’ The Drum Road in Cookstown was closed as a result of the tragedy.
The road will be closed for some time and drivers are asked to seek alternative routes.
