Police appeal over Ballycastle assault
At around 6.45pm it was reported that an altercation took place on a garage forecourt in the Castle Street area of the town. A man, aged in his 50’s, was taken to hospital for treatment for a suspected fracture to his leg and a fracture to his eye socket.
A short time later it was reported that a man and woman had been assaulted in licensed premises on Castle Street. They sustained minor injuries as a result.

Hide AdDetectives are appealing for anyone who was in the Castle Street area of Ballycastle yesterday evening and who witnessed these incidents to contact detectives in Coleraine on the non-emergency number 101. Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
