Cyclist dies following collision with vehicle - police appeal for information

Inspector Johnstone said: “Shortly after 9:35pm, it was reported that a red Hyundai Tuscon and a cyclist were involved in the incident.

“The cyclist, who was treated at the scene sadly died as a result of his injuries.

“The Gilford Road was closed as officers attended, with the road now reopened following the incident.

“Our enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has dash-cam footage available, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1927 11/11/20.”
