Annual general meeting for cadets

The business of the AGM will be to hear the reports of the chairman, officer in charge, honorary treasurer and agree the adoption of the accounts for the financial year ending March 31 2014. 

The unit management committee will be elected / re-elected following the criteria and guidelines contained within Sea Cadet regulations. 

Winston Cheshire, honorary treasurer, Carrickfergus Sea Cadets, added: “If anyone who has experience in management or committee matters feels they could make a positive contribution to running what is in fact a small business, nomination forms for membership of the committee are available from the unit.” 

The annual general meeting will take place at the unit’s Alexandra Pier headquarters, commencing at 7.20pm sharp.
