MLA Robinson highlights lack of work on Mountain
East Londonderry MLA George Robinson last week highlighted the issue with DRD Minister Mr Danny Kennedy MLA. In the meeting with Minister Kennedy the DUP man also highlighted the work being carried out on the Seacoast Road, he said that with road works on both main routes between the two town no route between Coleraine Limavady was free flowing.
After the meeting, the MLA said: “I pointed out that no work had been observed for about seven weeks on the Mountain Road. It was of deep concern to me that there was a real possibility of a serious accident - especially at night or in poor visibility. The next morning the cones had been removed and traffic was flowing in a free and safe manner.”
