Massive cannabis seizure revealed
According to the latest estimates from the PSNI, all drugs seized in the operation had a potential street value of around £220,000.
Ballymena Area Commander Chief Inspector Stephen McCauley said: “The plants were discovered during a proactive search in the Duke Street area. Cannabis cultivation equipment and other associated paraphernalia have also been seized by police.”

The information received by officers have played an important role in this seizuire. Officers will continue to tackle the issue of drugs and would appeal to all members of the comunity to report any suspicious activity to police on the non-emergency number 101.”
