Man denies indecency charges
A 74-year-old Lurgan man has pleaded not guilty to two charges of indecent assault on a child which are alleged to have happened 47 years ago.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared on Tuesday at Craigavon Crown Court.
Two charges of alleged indecent assault on a child on a date unknown between January 1, 1967, and December 31, 1967, were put to him.
He replied not guilty to both charges.
Judge Patrick Lynch said he would reserve on the issue of reporting restrictions.
The case was adjourned to go to trial on March 31.
