Station on target

WORK on Ballymoney’s new police station in Charlotte Street is on schedule, according to Inspector David Anderson.

The completion date is November of next year and this week steel work was due to start on the building although the stormy weather looked like delaying that start.

Inspector Anderson said the new station would be purpose built to provide a police service to the community for many years.

Local politicians have welcomed the improvements to the station.
