Man arrested in Larne in terrorism investigation is released

A 27 year old man who was arrested in Larne on the morning of Monday August 29 by detectives from Serious Crime Branch investigating dissident republican terrorist activity has been released pending a report being sent to the Public Prosecution Service.

Police have also confirmed that they are searching a former quarry on the Old Glenarm Road in Larne as part of an ongoing investigation into terrorism.
