Leadership in a shared society - programme

ELECTED representatives from Limavady, Coleraine, Moyle, Ballymoney, Ballymena and Larne Councils gathered in Loughgiel Millennium Hall as part of a training programme, Leadership in a Shared Society.

This programme is funded by the NE Peace 111 Partnership. The programme is delivered by the Workers’ Educational Association, Mediation Northern Ireland and the Interaction Institute for Social Change.

Workers and volunteers from community based organisations across the six council areas presented models of good practice to the Councillors.

Groups presenting included from Larne the Tullygarley Re-imaging Project, the Ballymena Inter-ethnic Forum, from Moyle the Mosside Development Group. Coleraine highlighted the work of Kilcranny House while Limavady show-cased the Roe Valley Residents and Bovalley ‘Stronger Together’ Project, also included was the work of the Cloughmills Community Action Team from Ballymoney
