Move steadily forwards, onwards and upwards

Believing the victory you will see,

With confidence in the gentle Saviour,

You’ll find the best is yet to be.

He’s always there to bless and protect you,

Our refuge and strength in times of unrest,

Although your pathway seems strange and unknown,

Just be calm, your Father knows best.

Yes, we find things take a turn for the better

Though surrounded by trials and strife,
Faith moves mountains in the natural realm,

Shedding light on our outlook on life.

Let’s press on secure in the knowledge

God is aware of each trial and pain,

Some things may be hidden for a season

But in His time they will blossom again.
