Glenavy burial for remains

The human remains, thought to belong to one of the Disappeared Brendan Megraw, are expected to be buried in Glenavy once formally identified.

The remains, were found near Kells, County Meath last week after the ICLVR received new information in August.

Brendan Megraw was kidnapped from Twinbrook in 1978 and murdered by the IRA who said he had confessed to being a British agent.

His family say he will be buried with Mr Megraw’s parents in Glenavy.
