Garvagh Christmas tree on the move?
Garvagh residents are being asked if they would like to see a new home for the town’s Christmas tree.
MLA Adrian McQuillan is currently seeking opinions, after he was approached about a possible move from the usual position at the war memorial to the new Corner Stone Park. “There will be a variety of activies in the new park over the festive season, and some people thought that it might be nice for the tree to be located here too.
“I would ask that any residents, businesses or community groups get in touch with me at my office with any thoughts or opinions on this. Obviously the final decision will be made by Council,” he said.
