Former councillor - Samuel Lutton - passes away

A former Ulster Unionist Councillor has passed away at the age of 92.

Samuel Lutton was a well known and popular figure in the town.

He passed away peacefully yesterday (Friday, April 3), at his home, Hamilton Gardens, Lurgan.

He was the beloved husband of the late Sarah (Sadie) and loving father of Jean, Bobby, Lynn and the late Winnie.

Funeral Service in Queen Street Methodist Church on Sunday at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment in Lurgan Cemetery.

Family and friends welcome at his daughter Lynn’s home, 4 Glenshane, Lurgan. No flowers please. Donations, if desired, may be made for Queen Street Methodist Church, c/o Malcomsons Funeral Service, 7 Robert Street, Lurgan, BT66 8BE.

Will be lovingly remembered and very sadly missed by his son, daughters, daughter-in-law Pat, sons-in-law Nigel and Allen, sister Elizabeth, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friend Barbara and entire family circle.
