Electric blanket testing at Council

COLERAINE Borough Council's Environmental Health Department, in conjunction with Coleraine Home Accident Prevention Committee, is hosting a one day electric blanket safety testing initiative.

The event will be held in the Bann Gallery at the Cloonavin on Friday, October 20

There will be an appointment system in operation and if you would be interested in this free service you should contact the Environmental Health Department on 7034 7171.

Blankets need to be labelled with the owner's name, address and contact number. Approximately 30 blankets can be tested.

In the event of the electric blanket failing a 10 voucher redeemable at a local retailer will be offered if the blanket is handed over for disposal.
