In essence Council is asked to indicate what is happening from its perspective concerning the innovative Dervock community facility – “Can we ask for your perspective on where we might be by the time of the Olympics in terms of new changing rooms and perhaps including some aspect of our modular plan for a much needed village sports facility?”’

A discussion ensued, during which the Director was advised as to overtures made on behalf of the local football club as regards training facilities and lighting for same.

Cllr John Finlay requested that the Director bring a report back to Committee at a future date in respect of the issues raised including cost projections.
