Derelict nursing home destroyed in major fire
ARSONISTS are believed to be responsible for destroying a derelict nursing home on the Magheralave Road last Tuesday evening when fire broke out around 6.30pm.
Local fire crews were joined by fire fighters from Belfast in dealing with the b;aze which resulted in most of the roof being detroyed.
Eighty percent of the roof was destroyed as firefighters used three main jets and a jet from an aerial platform to bring the blaze under control.
