Deaths in the community

The death has taken place of Joe Stewart of Bleary Road.

Mr Stewart, who is survived by his wife Dinah and children Barbara and Alan, died peacefully at Glenview Nursing Home.

His funeral was to Knocknamuckley Parish Church on Friday.

Michael (Mick) Toye

The death has taken place of Michael Toye of Innisfail Walk, Taghnevan, Lurgan and formerly Maghery.

Married to Cathlin, Michael is father to Sheenagh, Michelle, Michael and the late Jacqueline, Joanne and Nuala.

His funeral was from his home in Taghnevan to St Mary’s Church, Maghery on Tuesday for Requiem Mass and interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

John (Jackie) Ryans

The death has taken place of Jackie Ryans, husband of the late Gertie, formerly of Gilford Road, Lurgan.

His funeral service took place on Tuesday at Tandragee Baptist Church with interment in the adjoining graveyard.

Margaret (Maggie) Towe

The death has taken place of Maggie Towe, daughter of the late Isaac and Mary Towe formerly of Oakleigh Fold and Shankill Street Place, Lurgan.

Her funeral was from her neice Paula Brown’s home at Tannaghmore Green, Derrymacash to St Peter’s Church.
