THE PSNI is asking residents living close to schools to be vigilant following several thefts of lead in recent weeks.
Officers are particularly asking those members of the public living close to Holy Child, St Peter’s, Holy Family, and St Eithne’s to report any suspicious activity on school grounds immediately.
Lead thefts are becoming more common, not just in Foyle but across not Northern Ireland. You can help us prevent this type of crime by paying attention to who is on schools grounds outside of school hours. The telephone number to ring is 0845 600 8000.
